Where do I find the certificate ID?

The certificate ID is printed on the original certificate, and also included in the email that was sent at issuance. It also appears on the certificate record inside your SkillNexus dashboard.

Do I need an account to verify?

No. Certificate verification works fully signed-out. Signing in adds bulk verification and a saved audit history, but is never required for a one-off check.

What does “revoked” mean?

It means the issuing organisation has withdrawn the certificate after it was originally issued — usually due to a correction or a policy violation. Revoked certificates are still traceable, so you can see when and why.

What does “expired” mean?

Some professional and compliance certificates carry an expiry date. An expired certificate is still authentic — it simply no longer certifies current competence. The original issue date and issuer are still shown.

I entered a SkillNexus ID. Why did it say profile?

This page verifies certificates. If you paste a SkillNexus ID (format SNX-…), the backend resolves it as a profile instead. We’ll show you a link to open the full profile on the profile lookup page.

Is the data I enter stored?

Only the verification outcome is recorded. The raw identifier you enter is never displayed publicly and is never sold.
